James joined DMT last year and has truly hit the ground running, quickly becoming a dependable and hardworking member of the team. He consistently puts safety first, taking the time to double check his load securement and equipment to ensure every haul is completed the right way.
Operating out of our Scottsboro terminal, James works closely with Driver Manager Johnathon S. who shared this about James: “James consistently pushes me as a Driver Manager to reduce deadhead, and he’s never one to take the “easy load.” Anytime he accepts a load for less than he wants or believes should be the rate, he challenges me to find something worthwhile enough to justify staying away from home.”
Outside of work, James is an avid fisherman and brings the same level of patience, focus, and skill to the water as he does to the truck. We are proud to have James on our team and to recognize him for this well-deserved accomplishment. Keep up the great work and stay safe out there!
